The Technical Marketing Specialist is part of the New Product Development Team and will work closely with the responsible Group Product Category Manager. Our team collaborates with sales, customers, and end users to gather valuable product and category insights, translate user needs into technical specifications, and ensure the efficient operation of product development and launch within the assigned category. This role focuses on end user testing, offers support to internal and external stakeholders, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support the launch and maintenance of new, and existing products.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate end user testing sessions and field visits for new products or features
- Act as primary point of contact for customer inquiries
- Support in drafting and editing customer-facing communications
- Conduct product demonstrations for events, potential customers, dealers, and end users
- Organize and maintain project and product documentation
- Assist in the development of key data sheets, pricing and profitability calculations, sell sheets, and product launch guides
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Business, or Sales preferred
- Proven effective communication with internal and external team members
- Basic Knowledge of power tools and accessories
- Basic knowledge of product management including product lifecycle management, packaging, retail financial, and sales skills
- Spanish preferred but not required
- Highly Proficient computer skills and use of planning software - Excel and Power Point
- 1-3 years of sales, marketing, or engineering experience
- Passion for construction products and power tools
