The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and execution of master data transactions within SAP to support daily business operations. This role ensures that material, BOM, routing, and related data are entered and maintained with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness. The position also supports engineering prototype builds by enabling proper system setup and coordinating with lab and material handling teams to ensure parts are available when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain master data in SAP including material masters, BOMs, routings
  • Process engineering changes (ECNs/ECOs) with proper revision and effectivity control
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness; identify and correct errors
  • Support engineering prototype builds by setting up routings and coordinating part availability
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
  • Maintain documentation and follow procedures for data entry and change management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Systems, Information Systems, Business or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience may substitute for Associate degree
  • Ability to read engineering prints
  • Familiarity with routing structures and basic production planning concepts
  • Experience supporting prototype or pre-production builds
  • Familiarity with fluid power components
