Your impact:You will be the strategic bridge who translates business needs into reliable IT solutions. Together with a skilled team of 3 IT Engineers, you will plan and set the future tracks of our IT infrastructure and collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment. In this role, you will support the people behind Channable; your mission is to maintain our internal workspace and assist our employees; it does not involve supporting our clients. What you bring to the team: You’re fluent in the English language as well as "business" to "tech" and can translate vice versaYou have at least 5+ years of experience within the area of IT and at least 2+ years of experience in a supervisory roleYou have deep knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments, including troubleshooting hardware and software issuesSolid coordination, communication, and crisis management skillsGood understanding of common Security & Compliance practicesWhat you will do: Plan, delegate, and prioritize our general IT workloadMentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development and skill buildingDive into technical challenges alongside the teamKeep a good overview of our automations and make sure information is well documentedSupport & plan the rollout of new tools, devices, and processes, ensuring smooth adoption by our end-usersLiaise on issues with large(r) impact with team members, departments, and stakeholdersPlanning and reviewing OKRsManage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contracts meet organizational needs and cost objectivesWho are you?You are a people-oriented individual who helps others with an open and approachable attitudeYou enjoy working with modern technologies and are not afraid of learning some new tricksYou are pragmatic and empathic towards your team members and other stakeholdersYou have a proactive mindset, looking for recurring issues and opportunities to improve the user experienceYou bring some experience with Project- and Service managementYou are not afraid of tackling larger projects and know how to break them down into smaller, achievable milestonesYou have experience with structuring/restructuring teams to improve efficiency and ensure the right talent is in the right "gear" for the best output.You have an eye for improving workflows and processes to eliminate friction and waste.Bonus points for:Experience with any of the listed applications:GithubHubspot1PasswordJumpCloudGoogle Cloud / WorkspaceToriiLinux, iOS, AndroidScripting languages (PowerShell / Bash)Any relevant certifications or proven track recordsThe logistics:Commitment: Minimum 32 to 40 hours per week.Location: Hybrid workspace (minimum 2 days a week in our Utrecht office).Right to work: Valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship required.Important note: We understand that studies show women may only apply for roles when they feel they meet 100% of the requirements; therefore, we strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't check every box, as we are looking for passionate individuals with potential and a willingness to grow.
